Embedding a form in the Thank You page

You create a survey or a petition or some other non-payment type activity to get your supporters interested in, excited about, and participating with your organization. And you decide you would like to at least give them the option to donate without sending a mixed message with your main form. So, instead you can link to or even embed a donation form in your Thank You page after they have completed the non-payment form.

Requirements:

  1. Your main, non-payment activity (Survey, Petition, Volunteer Sign Up, etc.)  
    • Once it is ready to go, go back to the Keyword / Setup section on the left to edit the Thank You page information.
  2. A separate Text to Donate activity
    • If you are linking the Text to Donate form instead of embedding it, you can use any of your donation forms.
    • If you are embedding the Donation form into the Thank You page, you will want a separate Text to Donate form that will specifically be used for the Thank You page.
Tip: Make sure to use the same or complementary brand or button color across both forms so they will look like they are part of the same activity.
Note: Do not create the donation page within the same activity as your non-payment activity because they will use the same Thank you page.

Linking the Donation Form

From your Donation activity, copy the link in the lower left under Display Links.

Go to the Non-Payment activity and paste the copied link into the Link for 'next' button after donation is made box.

Add some text to let people know when they reach the Thank You page that if they are interested in donating too, they can click on or select the Next button.

Save your changes. To review what it will look like without submitting the non-payment form, go to Mobile Experience on the left to see the Thank You page.

Embedding the Donation form

From your Donation activity, be within the design screen of the Online Form you wish to embed.

Note: Chances are you will want to turn off the Logo and Background Image for the Donation form since it will still have your Organization Logo on the Thank You Page.

Scroll down to and open the Embed Code section.

Copy the Form Embed code.

Go to the Non-Payment activity's Keyword/Setup page.

If you have the Rich Text Editor enabled on your account, then click on the Source Code button and it will open a window.

Paste in the code from the Donation form. It should start with <iframe> and end with </iframe>

Be aware of anything else you may have on the Thank You page, like any images, text, etc. and put your Form in the appropriate place, usually the bottom of any other code.

Save your changes. To review what it will look like without submitting the non-payment form, go to Mobile Experience on the left to see the Thank You page.
