Isn't it possible to deactivate the crowdfunding function of Teams? We want to host a tournament funded by the creation of teams. We want the teams to be viewable and joinable by subsequent registrants.
I hope I’m understanding your question correctly. In a nutshell, it sounds like you’re looking to use teams, but control them so not anyone can create teams, so you have an existing list of teams created, or the creation of teams is done maybe like a corporate sponsorship, etc.
To do this, you have the option under the Crowdfunding and Peer-to-Peer Fundraising activity in the Teams section, on the Team Settings tab. I believe what you’re looking for is to Disable the option for Fundraisers to Create Teams. By doing this, you control and create the Teams yourself. From there, if you do not assign a Team Captain, then everything is locked down to your control. Then you can create the Teams on the Team Manager page.
For further control, you can Disable the option for Fundraisers to Join Team on the Team Settings tab, so that you can then assign fundraisers to specific teams if you desire, from the Fundraiser Dashboard page, by editing the fundraisers.
And then on the Fundraiser Settings tab, if you want to Review Fundraisers before they go Live you can assign the fundraisers as you approve and make them live, if you want control on that level.
Fundraisers on teams will show their personal fundraising amounts on their own page and the collective fundraiser amounts will show on the team page.
